It’s the most wonderful time of the year – to put your bullet journal to good use! I know Thanksgiving hasn’t even come and gone yet, but I feel now is the perfect time to start planning for Christmas. That is why I’ve rounded up a few bits of Christmas inspiration for your bujo.
If you’re new to bullet journaling and you need to back up a bit to find out what it’s all about,
visit my post Why Bullet Journal?
In it I concisely explain the concept of a ‘bujo’ and provide tons of links to more inspiration.
Now for the round up…
1. (Fun) Christmas To-Do List
It always seems like there is sooo many fun activities during holiday season. Some of my favorites are baking sweet treats with my hubby and driving around to look at the lights.
A great way to make sure you don’t leave anything out is to create a bucket list in your bujo, like this one from Christina.
2. Christmas Gift Trackers
I always seem to lose my mind when it comes to Christmas gifts. Not in the sense that I go overboard, but I literally seem to forget all the good ideas I came up with over the previous year (or over the last 5 seconds!). That’s why I made my own gift-giving spread back in September when I started bujoing.
Looking back, I’m not very impressed with myself. Why did I color it purple??? I’m definitely going to be creating a better one soon. In the meantime, here are a couple more creative spreads that I have found:
3. Christmas Stocking-Stuffer Ideas
Every year I scour Pinterest searching for great new stocking stuffer ideas. If I incorporate this spread into my bullet journal, I’ll never have to do that again. Plus, look at how CUTE these stockings are!
4. Christmas Countdown (aka Advent Calendar)
Counting down the days to Christmas always adds to the excitement of the day – so why not add it to your bujo?! I probably won’t go as far as lunarlabyrinth with 50 days, but I will definitely be doing the classic 25 days. Also, I think I might incorporate a scripture passage to read each day, to help remind me of reason for the season.
5. General Christmas Planner
Of course, there is always the option to combine all these practical spreads into one like Kassy… although I think my Christmas will have way too much going on for this gorgeous little layout. (However, I definitely plan on borrowing these embellishment doodles for my own spreads!)
That’s it for now! I definitely plan on adding more to this page when I’ve completed some more of my own spreads, so follow me on Instagram or Facebook for future updates.
Do you have any Christmas spreads that I haven’t mentioned here? Share in the comments, I’d love to hear from you.
